MEET
THE FOUNDER
The visionary behind Phasor Electromagnetics is Dr. Dennis Vollbracht — an engineer, researcher, and technology expert with more than 20 years of experience in advanced radar, antenna, and electromagnetic sensing technologies.
Throughout his career, he has worked on the development and industrialization of high-performance radar and sensing systems within leading automotive and defence-related technology environments. His expertise combines radar system architecture, antenna innovation, RF engineering, signal processing, and scalable sensing platforms.
What makes his background unique is the combination of defence-grade radar expertise with large-scale automotive engineering and industrialisation experience — enabling the development of highly scalable, cost-efficient, and operationally deployable sensing systems for future European security and autonomous applications.
Dr. Vollbracht holds a PhD in radar and antenna technologies and is an associated lecturer at the University of Wuppertal, where he teaches radar and antenna systems engineering. He is the author of more than 20 scientific publications and inventor or co-inventor of more than 20 patent applications in the fields of radar, antennas, and electromagnetic systems.
THE
MISSION AND VISION
Recently, Dr. Vollbracht became increasingly convinced that Europe requires a new generation of sovereign, scalable, and technologically independent sensing capabilities to address the rapidly evolving security challenges of the future.
As autonomous systems, drones, and interconnected infrastructures continue to evolve rapidly, the importance of intelligent electromagnetic sensing and radar intelligence is growing dramatically — while Europe still depends heavily on fragmented system landscapes, external technologies, and slow innovation cycles.
Phasor Electromagnetics therefore was founded to develop the next generation of intelligent Radar & Sensor Intelligence Systems designed to strengthen Europe’s internal security and protect critical infrastructure, autonomous technologies, and future security environments.
By combining advanced high-frequency engineering, AI-supported signal intelligence, and scalable system architectures, the company aims to create sovereign European capabilities in electromagnetic sensing and next-generation security technologies.
The long-term vision behind Phasor is not simply to build another radar company, but to help establish a new European capability in intelligent electromagnetic sensing, radar intelligence, and AI-supported security technologies.
At the same time, Phasor Electromagnetics aims to build a long-term electromagnetic technology competence hub in North Rhine-Westphalia — bringing together engineering excellence, applied research, industrial collaboration, and scalable innovation to strengthen Europe’s technological sovereignty for decades to come.
